Twenty-Three

This quote couldn't be more true! Birthday's are so great and it's a day you don't feel terrible about pampering yourself and celebrating a little. But my birthday wouldn't have meant a thing if I didn't have such incredible people to celebrate it with. This year I didn't want presents (even though I got GREAT ones) I just wanted my friends to be near.

I was so excited that my birthday was on a Saturday. But unfortunately, my Saturday morning began with a three hour teaching praxis at 7am. YUCK! Lucky for me... my darling friend Christine showed up to my house bright and early at 6:30AM with my favorite Starbucks and a mouth watering breakfast sandwich. Thank you TINI!! Just what I needed to power through my test.

                             

When I walked into the kitchen, I had the sweetest little surprise! Birthday cards signed from my students and the perfect day had been planned by my DARLING roommate! Thank you Lauren. You are the best and I'm so thankful we've become such great friends.

Once my test was complete, the fun began! We spent the day sipping mimosas by the pool, pampering our overworked teacher feet and enjoying much needed time with great people.
